HENB Invited to Saint John's College High School History Club for Women’s Month in 2022

April Martinez, co-director of Heritage Education Network Belize at Saint John's College High School Belize, March 2022

Thank you to the Saint John's College High School History Club for inviting HENB and our Director, April Martinez, to talk about all things KULCHA in honour of Women’s Month in 2022!

April talked about women in archaeology, more specifically about HENB and why we felt the need to create our organisation. Globally and in Belize, there is limited space for Anthropology or Archaeology graduates and young professionals to utilise their skills and help build Belizean society.

HENB aims to provide that space. As women in the archaeology and cultural fields, we can use our skills to make HENB a platform that caters to anyone who wants to learn, engage, and talk more about culture through a holistic and inclusive lens.

Join our Facebook community and immerse yourself in Culture, Heritage, Archaeology and the Arts!
